This is our new therapy whose aim is to enhance the chances for optimal implantation of the embryos into the uterine wall. PEP technique uses autologous PLRP (Platelet/Lymphocyte Rich Plasma). What this actually means is that we use growth factors from the platelets and lymphocytes from patients own blood. Growth factors (more than dozens of growth factors which impact different cells and tissues) have a positive impact on endometrial thickening, increased blood supply and generally improves implantation. This procedure consists of blood sampling, laboratory preparation of the obtained sample and its preparation, followed by application of the obtained active substance into the endometrial cavity and as subendometrial injection.
PEP is done in the month when embryo transfer is performed (fresh or unthawed embryo), a couple of days prior to the transfer.
