My experience with Professor Ljubic has been wonderful!! Everyone on the Segova team is truly a great source of encouragement and knowledge on this difficult journey. Professor Ljubic is the type of doctor that only comes around once in a lifetime. The atmosphere at Pronatal clinic is one that I am not used to in the USA. They are very friendly and treat each other like family, including the patients. It is truly a breath of fresh air to be in the caring hands of such competent physicians, nurses and staff. Communication with the team is always clear, fast and helpful; something that is very difficult to achieve in any clinic in the US.
It can be scary coming from another country to seek care overseas, however, this team makes it so easy that you feel you are right at home. I only wish we could find teams like these back home. The great thing is once you are a patient with the Professor’s team, you are sure to be taken care of even when you return home, which is really a priceless experience to be able to have on this difficult journey.
Another plus and pleasant surprise was that most if not all of our treatment here in Belgrade was covered by our US insurance, so be sure to check with your insurance carrier to see if you have global coverage, it truly helped us in so many ways, as this is such an expensive journey. But even without insurance, the prices in Belgrade are much cheaper than back in the USA.
